Neo-Bistro is the New Black

Be it the Neo-Bistro Movement, or the Paris Bistronomy if you like, this emerging neologism has turned the page in the staid culinary world for quite some time.  The idea is straightforward - no dress code required and no breaking-the-wallet bill, instead, you're in for a refined, inventive yet affordable meal prepared by gourmet-trained chefs in a bistro aesthetic. 

Before this new wave burgeons in Hong Kong, we're doing it right here at 3/3rds!  On July 25th & 26th, we're pairing with three young and enthusiastic chefs(Jaco, Wesley & Wingo), bringing you two nights of Michellin-star quality eating experience at our rustic and chill-out cafe cum restaurant set-up.  The 6-course menu is thoughtfully crafted with a twist of Asian flavours and personal touches, simply put, it is fun, honest, creative but most importantly - taste comes first! In order to keep it casual, the ostentatious wine list is ditched, so feel free to bring your private collection here! Chicken liver parfait, spelt bread
hazelnut cracker and crispy chicken skin

Quail scotch egg

to start..
Toasted barley, triple cooked potato,
coriander mayo, curry veloute

to follow..
Asparagus on sourdough "toast",
crab meat, seaweed dressing, cucumber ketchup

and the main..
Sirloin Steak,
Onion three ways (Crispy onion, confit onion, smoked onion emulsion),
Mushroom three ways (mushroom duxelle, pan seared mushroom, raw mushroom slice)

just before the dessert..
Citrus tartare, mint granita,
orange marmalade, grape fruit puree

to finish..
Honey mousse, apricot parfait,
chamomile cake, milk crumb, bee pollen

and a complimentary tea/coffee is inclusive
